Free mini Christmas village: 3 paper houses to fold

Three little houses to print, cut and fold, each with a secret door underneath for a treat and a riddle card.

What's inside

The Penguin Post Office, the Elf Apartments and the Fox Den, each 7 to 10 cm (3 to 4 in) tall
A color version and a plain coloring version of every house
A fold-up note card for each house, with a riddle or a mini puzzle
A step-by-step folding page with pictures, and a grown-ups' answer page

Little ones can color the plain houses first, then a grown-up helps with the scissors. Fold them on a weekend and line them up on a windowsill.

Print on white cardstock (65-110 lb or 176-300 gsm) at actual size. Plain paper works too, it's just floppier.
Cut along the solid lines, score and fold the dashed ones, and glue the lilac flaps inside.
Pop a small treat and the folded note card inside, then close the bottom. Each house takes 6 to 10 minutes.
